The original 'Stig' from Top Gear will be at the Royal Standard pub on St Marys Rd on Tuesday 1st December from 2.30 to 4.00pm.

The coca-cola designated driver campaign is this year being fronted by Perry McCarthy, the original Stig. The press release for the area is taking place at the above venue & all members of the press are invited.

This is an open event so any members of the public that wish to meet the Stig will be welcome, just come along, buy a coca-cola & meet the man himself.

If no-one knows what he looks like, how will anyone recognise him?

He's the original stig, who revealed the fact it was him in his autobiography. If you follow Top Gear you will remember the stig wore all black in the eary days, nowadays the new stig wears all white.

In that case I might just turn up in an all black outfit and a crash helmet and get mobbed by lots of pretty young ladies! ;)
