hi can any one tell me how i go about takin my cats to the rspca i have just split with my girlfriend and have 4 cats but i am going to keep 2 cats as it is hard to cope with 4 cats and a dog and to bo honist i carnt afford to feed 4 cats as well 2 should be ok i feel realy bad for wanting to get rid of 2 but i think it is for the best . one is a pure white cat with pinkish ear's and odd eye's other one is a tabby cat the tabby one has been off with me since me and my partner split up as she is realy a woman's cat .

hi, as far as i know you just call the rspca but could you give a little more info on your cats....age, sex, personality etc as i would like to rehome a cat just have to try and make sure itll fit in with the other 2 i have... i guess if youve had 4 then theyre all quite sociable?

this is starting to look not good...so...instead of wanting them rehoming on here youre now selling the cats on gumtree???

There are so many posts now about people splitting up and animals needing rehoming. Can't family and friends come to the rescue? Rescue centres are overfull as it is and we're having difficulties finding homes for animals living on the streets. I think you need to think of other alternatives within your family/friends circle.

I emailed Russel and offered to help! offered to rehome at least one of the cats...he didnt reply and now they are for sale on gumtree.

Don't u just despair sometimes :( If me and the OH DID split up none of my pets would be going anywhere. I would rather starve myself than give any of them up - and SELL them  But hey I s'pose like other animal lovers on here, I would at least try to struggle to cope

nothing wrong with that, just didnt like the idea that you were wanting to rehome them one day then selling them the next.
