The studio will also be representing the north of Sheffield and S35 in particular, in the 'Open up Sheffield 2009' event over the weekends of the 28/29th November and 5/6th December 2009.
With the exception of Hullaballoos and the all day textile workshop, all the events and exhibitions are free.
The Coterie Gallery & Fine Art Studio studio will be running a series of events over both weekends of the 28/29th November and 5/6th December 2009 in conjunction with the 'Open Up Sheffield Studios', Winter 2009' event.
There will be a series of demonstrations, talks, and workshops in the studio and gallery ‘B’, in addition to the two exhibitions, “Horses lend us the Wings we Lack” in the main gallery and “Compendium” in gallery ‘B’.
The children are catered for in the adjoining ‘Hullaballoos indoor play centre open from 10-6pm Saturday and 10-5pm Sundays with a discounted entry on each of the ‘Open Up Sheffield’ days.and face painting sessions between 12noon 1pm on both Saturdays.
Santa has said he will be coming but he has a heavy work load and bad weather is expected over the Arctic, so he will have to get back to Hullaballoos with the time and date.

Resident artist Anthony Carroll will be giving a talk about reading a painting using a masterpiece as an example with an open discussion on its symbolism.
Between 1.30- 2.30pm Joanne will be helping children in the studio make a Christmas card to take home.
