Uncle Arthur's toyshop (on Woodseats) has closed. This makes me sad as I remember buying all my toys from there in the early 80s...

There used to be two of the shops - one where the framing shop is at the moorfoot (by the, um, fountain that was). We used to have Hamleys, Redgates, Beatties (if you liked models and things).
I was my innocent youth back so I can be, well, like a five year old in a toyshop!
