I know this sounds random, but I'm sure someone will tell me. For example, I have discovered a body lotion in the bathroom cabinate, and I know I opened it last year - safe to use? And I also have loads of stuff from Christmasses ago, still packaged, but are they ok? Once something's been opened how long till you should throw it out...??!

Years :D unless it's some form of eye lotion/cream/fluid

There's stuff in our cabinet that we had at our last house :suspect:

Some stuff got binned coz it started to smell 'plasticky' after it's fragrance started wearing off

Anything you have that's still packaged you could always used as presents for other people this Christmas!!! Just make sure you don't give them back to the person who bought it for you in the first place ;)

:hihi: When I give boxed toiletries I always write a message on the inside of the lid.

That way if they give it Auntie Flo next year without having opened it, she'll know she got a second hand prezzie :hihi:

I recall one Christmas when I was a kid an aunt gave my sister a vile plastic tray & matching vile plastic coasters. :gag:

The following Christmas they came out & were passed to another relative.

All was fine till the 3rd Christmas when the aunt received them back from the middle relative!

Red faces :blush::blush: all round...
