What do people think to blind dates? Anyone had a good blind date in sheffield?

yes. nearly 3 years ago now. was set-up by my friend and her then-boyfriend with one of his mates. meal for four. anyway, we are living together now, happily ever after!!!

I've been set up on one or two - can be a good laugh but to be honest the couple of ladies I met weren't exactly relationship material. You may as well go though, nothing to lose etc.

Well my mates bird has tried setting me up with 3 of her friends- all nightmares! She described them all as lovely, what she didn't say was that they were all mooses. Shallow yes, but she could have been a little more honest with me- I have high standards and she knew it!

It took me hours to pluck up the courage to phone my blind date, which had been arranged through a mutual friend. It turned out that she'd hastily written down her phone number, and had missed a digit out. When I realised that I couldn't phone her the relief was incredible! We never got to speak after that, though I did see her once; she was a bit of a Bullwinkle.....
