Has anyone bought the new Oasis album? Any thoughts?

A lot of the songs grow and grow on you the more you listen to them. It's no Definitely Maybe but still a good buy.

Turn Up the Sun and A Bell Will Ring are great tracks. The strongest still is probably the first single, Lyla.

Any other Oasis fans on the forum?

yes its a grow on you album.....some tracks are same old,same old though....

I like this new album, has a more lively edge to it than previous efforts...I'm still trying to get over my dissapointment of the new coldplay album, think it's pants!! Just my opinion tho!!

My mate went to see Ian Brown - said it was the best gig of 'out of tune singing' he'd ever been too - really enjoyed it tho - said atmos was great!

Went to see him a couple of months ago in Bridlington and that was quality. Played a few Roses songs as well.

Thing is, he does sound out of tune a lot live. At Glastonbury he sounded awful!

Didn't make it to the forest gigs. Bit strapped for cash at the minute!!!!!

The new album is definatly a grower. i didn't link it at first but love it now.

Faves change all time, i use to dislike meaning of soel but love it now.

Saw them at manchester, good gig!

Which day did you go on? Went on the Thursday and loved it. Yeah meaning of Soul is quality. Sounds even better live!!!!
