The recently formed Dore and Totley Marie Curie Cancer Care Fundraising Support Group is holding an innovative 'Swishing Night' on Tuesday December 1st 2009 to boost funds for the local Marie Curie Nursing Service.
The ladies only event will be held at Dore Old School, on Savage Lane in Dore, between 8.00pm and 10.00pm. Everyone coming along is asked to bring at least one quality item of clothing which they no longer want with them. Everyone is then given the chance to browse the selection of clothing available and then 'swish' what they've bought with any item brought along to the event by someone else!
Tickets cost just £5 which will go towards supporting the local Marie Curie Nurses across the area. The ticket price also includes a glass of wine and some nibbles, plus the chance to buy from a selection of products displayed on several stalls and to win a luxury raffle prize.
