Inadvertently deleted all my browser history. It will still be there in the cache but how to access it?

I remember there was a freeware cache-reader for Netscape, is there something similar for Firefox ?

After my recent disaster resulting reinstalling XP Home I'd also like to know if that's possible

Found a Shareware proggy that does this...

CacheView (http://www.progsoc.uts.edu.au/~timj/cv/) is a viewer for the Netscape Navigator, Mozilla and Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer caches.

If you can find V2.0 anywhere, it's free (up till v2.1).

Thanks :) , - that looks like the very program I used to have.

Edit: I googled for V2.0 but didn't find it, what I did find were a load of warez cracks....for a $13 shareware program !!?

There are some mean people out there
