i've organised a secret santa with a group of ladies who all had babies around the same time. but the one i picked out is actually a lady who lost her baby so shes entered her 2 boys instead. we have never met so i've no idea what they are into etc. obviously can't ask as its a secret. they are 6 and 4.
the budget is £5-£10 but i don't mind spending more, maybe upto about £20.
i just can't think of anything to send. not sure whether to buy one thing they can share or something each. i thought about something personalised but not much around that doesn't cost a fortune.
sooo, does anyone have any ideas??
My advice, as a parent of twins, is buy them something smaller each. It doesn't go down well with shared gifts and I always feel heartbroken on their behalf.
Someone I know bought a shared gift and shared card recently, despite knowing how I feel about that and there was some serious confusion from the twins. Obviously they are separate people but being treated otherwise.
Books, of a silly nature are good for most kids and if all else fails Lego is fab and you could get two dinky sets. In fact I think Tesco are doing an offer and there's a £10 off voucher floating around somewhere. The advantage of Lego is that they can choose to combine it to make more stuff. Genius!
thanks for that zebra! lego is always fun, also doesn't matter if you already have it too i guess. i'll get looking now x

All the boys in the family have got these for xmas from us:

I wouldn't buy a shared present just because it's bound to cause arguments. My friend's boys are 3.5 and 6 and they like transformers. The younger one is also into Ben 10.
