I know were heading out of ice cream season, but we still have time to sneak a good ice cream or two in, so wher do you think you get the best ice cream in Sheffield. Myself, I fell Thorntons do a georgous ice cream the double scoop in my opinion is good value at £1.80 and you get a fudge stick and sauce( if they have it in). They have so many choices the toffee is droooooooooooooool wonderful and dont even get me started on the chocolate. O and you get it in a good chocolate cone, and no I have'nt got a job at thorntons.

The best ice cream has to be Bradwells... vanilla & raspberry ripple...

I love all different types of ice cream. I particularly like Ben and Jerry's fish food ice cream from Morrisons and the good old mr whippy cornet with 2 chocolate flakes, chocolate sauce and chopped nuts.

I'm just off to try the new Gelateria that has opened at Nonna's off Ecclesall Road, the flavours sounded wonderful when we read them and dribbled through the window last night.

Comes highly reccomended, not cheap tho.

I can't spell it propely but Mullaneris (well thats what it sounds like) in Beighton do the best Ice Cream ever. It's pure white and the first time I had yellow vanilla ice cream I thought it had gone off :D

Joe's ( Mollinaries ) icecream takes some beating.

Got to agree - haven't found anything to match it.

Joe's Ices (Beighton) Dairy ice cream is heaven on earth and I have yet to find another in Sheffield to beat it. Scrummmmy!

Taggys were fab! so gorgeous - can still remember the taste now! what on earth happened to them!

Taggys was the best. I grew up in Heeley and my mum told me a story about taggys and why it closed. I'll ask her and post again.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! My Whippy Ice creams.......droooooooooooool, Pure Cornish Ice Cream......... salivate,salivate............. PROPER VANILLA ICE CREAM..................... Im off to get a MAGNUM ( and not the one with the overgrown mustache either) :)
