Splodge_CRB 03-08-2005, 16:26 She's one wickedly funny and courageous top lady...
Hope she makes it through
spartacus 03-08-2005, 16:42 Mo's one of the few who put forwarding her principles before forwarding her career. Good luck, Mo.
uncleheed 03-08-2005, 18:19 Get well soon Mo .
A true politician in a world of phonies and liars.
Internetowl 03-08-2005, 18:29 aye all the best for the mighty mo' - she gave Blair what for!
Plain Talker 03-08-2005, 18:35 echoes what uncle said, above...
yeah, add me to the list of "get-well" wishers....
I like Mo, cos she's straight talking, no bull, not mealy mouthed like some politicians.
she holds a lot of respect from me, and it takes a lot for me to say that about any of the "big" politicians.

Swan_Vesta 04-08-2005, 06:53 I was saddend to hear about Mo's present condition on the news, She's got to be one of the few political figures (granted, albeit ex) that I have any respect for - a very gutsy, humourous lady. Get well soon Mo
Plain Talker 13-08-2005, 23:21 latest news is that she's been transfered to a hospice, from the hospital where she's been having treatment.
This is saddening news, about someone whom i consider to be a rare breed... a good and trustworthy politician.

Can't find anything about that PT, but I know you wouldn't joke about such!
Assuming this is correct, I am very sad. She is such a life-force in our lives. God bless you Mo! :)

I can only echo everyone else's sentiments about Mo Mowlam, and add that hopefully she may soon find some peace from the great pain she must be feeling.
To anyone who hasn't already read Mo's autobiography Momentum, I would advise that you get hold of it at the earliest chance and enjoy the warts and all tale of a very very lovely person.
