Gordon Brown has a job to do, which - if he's doing it remotely approaching properly, which is questionable! - requires all of his time and more besides. It doesn't leave much chance to stand around and salute every time a dead soldier returns to the country. It would be nice if it did, but reality intrudes.

Nick Griffin, on the other hand, has only one job, which is to garner as much publicity as possible. It's hardly surprising that he can turn up.
