I would like a barn dance for my wedding next March, and am wanting to find a local barn dance band who could do this. Any recommendations or offers!? Also an idea of cost would be great. Thanks!

Thanks! motty 10-11-2009, 19:04 my partner organised a group for my 60th birthday last year called "the rhythm chaps". they are from around the wakefield area and used to do lots of gigs at the denby dale pie house. they are a well established band with a good caller who will not do things too complicated so that everyone can enjoy the dancing, also in the breaks they sing some good folk songs.they have a website and i believe they charge around £250. amron 03-12-2009, 07:07 we had Roger the Badger - Ceilidhs & barn dances they have a web site, i think. But we booked them over a year in advance. We had a fab night even folk who who never have got up to dance in their lives, did. Mind you "our dance" was a laugh it was like a walz in quick step. all great fun and worth every penny. |
