I am interested in renting a allotment in the Darnall area but I don't know how to go about it can anyone point me in the right direction please?

You need to contact the Allotments Office. If you tell them the area(s) you are looking in, they will send you a map of the allotment area with vacant/occupied lots marked.

There are allotments at Corker bottoms (near the Foundry workers club, which were relocated from Darnall and also a bit further away, at Manor fields/ Deep pits near the Travellers rest pub City Road

Does anyone have one at Meersbrook that they want to transfer?

My mum has an allotment up at Handsworth, at the back of the Church. Its not council owned so there are no rules. Plus you can also keep ducks, chickens, goats etc. There are even two sheep!

The shed is open Saturday and Sunday mornings 10.00am to 12.00am.

The entrance is on the road to the left of the Bowling Alley (don't know its name) and is on the public footpath on the first bend in the road.

Does anyone have one at Meersbrook that they want to transfer?
There seem to be lots of abandoned ones at Meersbrook, especially on the Carr Wood side of the allotments. Might need some security work but it's a lost world down there! Ace.
