Hi,

I always thought that with letting properties you either went with an Agency ( I have heard some dodgy stories on the forum) or you went it alone.

Would any private landlords on the forum pay to have tenants refered to them?

Something which is mid way between a "full property management" paying approx 12% of rent and doing it all yourself? I know that some Lettings Agencies offer a service for referring tenants but they seem really pricey

Would welcome any comments

Thanks

I'm quite curious as to how this would work, how would you find tenants to refer and what would you charge?

I have rented my flat for the last few years and I have now got some experience of how to market a property and find suitable tenants.

I would garantee a certain number of viewings (suitably matched) for a fee of £150

What do you think?

Bit like a letting agent??

I suppose ... but the difference would be that the private landlord would retain a lot of control over the property (which I know from experience is often a prefered option) and there would be no charge to prospective tenants.
