View Full Version : Small female dog found.
A small mainly white female dog has been found running along the road near wortley.
The dog was wearing a loose collar. No name tag.
It has a small injury to its back leg and was very frightened.
The dog is now in the care of a local vet.
if you can help get this dog back to her owner please get in touch.
Thanks
ukstudent 07-11-2009, 19:31 If it didn't have a name / number on the tag I'm guessing it wasn't microchipped either?
Why are some owners so irresponsible?
Good on you for rescuing her though :)

not sure about the chip.
I had young children with me in the car so couldn't really take the animal. But another driver stopped, probably because he saw some daft lady chasing a dog up the middle of a busy road - he took the dog and has kept me informed as to what has happened to her.
Just thought it'd be worth a shot posting it on here.

Could this be her?
Fingers crossed thats the one. Not lost too far away.

The joys of having kids, so we can't go out and it been rubbish on tv! At least i may have done something productive with my time if it is the dog :D
Mainly down to the op and the nice man who helped catch her though. Be nice for a sunday if it comes through.

Aww-what a shame :(
hi, sorry for the delay getting back on to this thread. The dog in the photos does look very similar, I'm afraid i'm not an expert on breeds etc. The description of the collar does not match however.
The dog I found had a faded grey/black collar with a clip to attach a lead to. There wasn't any name tag on the collar.
I'll find out which vet the other 'rescuer' took the dog to, and i'll update the thread as soon as i find out.
Fingers crossed we'll get her back home.

just found out the dog was taken to Churchfield in barnsley, near the police station.
It is not the dog from doglost.com i'm afraid
Ive posted a link to a dog lost ad on your thread. It sounds similar to the dog you found. There are some photos so you might be able to tell if that is the one. Ive also cross posted on dog lost.
