TBH I'm sure that happens in a lot of places.

I appreciate what you're saying, and yes there maybe one or two pretentious ***** in there, but most are pretty cool.

Just wondering if any of you nice people were going to corporation tomorrow night?? I am sat at work Soooooooo very bored so thought I would start this Oh, so interesting thread!

After years of spending over-inflated club prices to get packed in like sardines and try to have fun we've knocked it on the head. The last one was at Bugged Out in Liverpool and they'd let so many people in that you could hardly move. There were 1/2 hour queues to get between rooms and you could forget about the cloakroom/toilets.

Greedy club promotors always ruin NYE - they forget that some people like to dance when they go out clubbing, not just stand on a dancefloor that's too packed to move on.

So....anyway, this year we're getting the decks out at home and having a little private bash with mates :)

I don't bother with clubs new years eve anymore either. I do go to the pub though. Most years I stay local but this year am venturing out to town/Ecclesall Rd.

Starting in Graduate, then Fountain, then Stonehouse, then Champs, possibly Varsity and ending up in Pomona for midnight to wish lots of random people happy new year!

Probably.

Hope I get a taxi home Ok though.
