You see stuff on the Antiques Roadshow that is very expensive now even though it was worth very little in it's time. Usually it is to do with it's rarity or it's place in history.
I wondered if anyone could take a guess at what products we have available now that might be worth a bob or two in 20 to 50 years?
(I got to thinking about this because the SF T-shirts are nearly gone and they were a 'one off'. Will they be a sought after product in the future????)
I'm hoping the Sindy dolls will be antiques of the future, I bought a couple a year or two back and have never taken them out of their box.
I also got some of the Disney (I think) ants or insect things from one of their films, they are toys and as these have never been out of their box either i'm hoping in years to come, they'll be worth something.
My loft is like a treasure trove of stuff, antiques I bought years ago and soon to be antiques ( I hope).
I've always wanted to have an old aunt/uncle who has loads of treasures in their attic, it's never happended though, so i'm planning on being one of those aunts so that when I go, my neices and nephew can have a right good rummage ...

I'd go for electrical stuff too like Phan. My guess would be early Gameboys (the coloured ones) and the stand alone space invader things they used to have in pubs & clubs.
I'd save your old Nike trainers too... have you seen the prices they already fetch on ebay?
Second hand too! :gag:
Being a tad flippant, I'd like to say me :) but unfortunately, I'm unlikely to make you any fortunes on Ebay or even on the Antiques Roadshow.
Bang on the door, the groovy chick range.
The amount of this stuff my kid got from floor to celing in her bedroom hopefully will become worth a bob or two in 20-50 years time. And it collectable now a days so in 20-50ys it bound to be a collective item.
