just want to know from the people who have used this, do they usually have stock for most of their items when delivering at the latest time? the reason im choosing that delivery option is because its the cheapest but im thinking that they wouldnt have some of my items, im also thinking of using a voucher so the total price cannot go any lower than the minimum that is required for using the voucher.

They stop picking at about 2pm. And unless you state it, they will always substitute. I think also if the substitute is higher you get it at the original items price.

I use Tesco's every week and love them! the drivers are lovely and helpful, they always have offers and ive never had problems with things being out of stock, if they are they do substitute and dont charge you if they cost extra and you have the option of sending it back, plus every month they send you vouchers (clubcard) on average we get £22 a month back off our shopping, And the "favorates" is great , so quick keeps a log of what youve previously ordered so if you liked it its easy to find again. Tescos 100% great!

It all depends on "Availability".
If something is out of stock and its not in the warehouse,they will go for the next best thing

ok so if i ask for alternatives then my total wouldnt be more than the original total? even if the alternatives cost way more than my original items?

Ive shopped online with Tesco since May this year. I can highly recommend it to everyone! Excellent service, no problems and rare for any items to be unavailable. I changed to Tesco online from shopping in Sainsburys at Crystal Peaks because Sainsburys were so often out of stock of everyday items I took my custom to Tesco.

i use them once a month for our big shop and i have had no problems at all. Always on time in the time slot we have booked and it is normally the late slot we use, nothing is ever missing and i have never had a item replaced with another item if my first choice was not available, the drivers are always helpful and make sure all our bags are with us befor they drive off.

I've used Tesco 3 times and no real probs so far. Drivers are lovely and always on time. Last week the driver forgot the list so I had to check the goods with my emails (difficult as I had changed the order 4 times!). I found out that one item was missing, phoned cust. services and they immediately refunded my card. I will be trying Sainsbury's next, just to see how they are - same delivery charge etc. but 40 pounds min. spend. I always tell them not to substitute anything just to be on the safe side. So far so good.

Cheers...

No if they substitute a item and it costs more than what you ordered they dont charge you the extra, I think there the only company to do this aswell, Also tesco direct is good and if you get xmas presents from there you get the clubcard points too! I saw a lap top in pc world for my mum for xmas, I priced checked it online and tesco had the same one for £120 less than pc world so i got it from tesco and it was double clubcard points!
I LOVE TESCOS :hihi::hihi:
