Not that I was a big fan, but the story is here:

I wonder what they'll replace it with?

The link said it'd been going 5 days a week for 8 years. I'd never heard of this soap. Not sure it's going to be missed that much.

Confession: Although I don't own a tv - but I have heard of other soaps; but not this one!

I only ever saw it twice.. Didn't really rate it to be honest.. I think they'll probably replace it with another soap, or just do double episodes of Home and Away.

Obviously another rivetting aussie soap not missed much then.

I thought it finished a few years ago when they died on a canal barge that blew up !!

That's the same Family Affairs isn't it? Or this a different one entirely and I am making a pratt of myself?

"A spokeswoman for the soap told DS: "Nathan and his wife will explode onto our screens in an exciting storyline involving house gazumping."

If they think thats exciting it's no wonder it's been axed

Alas Desy it was home grown tripe. On a slightly related topic I thought the new(ish) coldpap song sounded like it had lifted the FA theme ..... maybe thats just me then :D

I knew the end was neigh when they experimented with making FA a 'choose your own adventure' soap. I think that fell flat on its arse when they realised that there was just one person voting over and over again :suspect:

Home and Away used to be class, when it had Dannii Minogue and Isla Fisher in it back in the early to mid 1990s.. Man I was like madly in love with Isla Fisher when I was 15, and I still wouldn't say no now.

Trouble is, last I heard she was engaged to some rich nobility toff :(

Don't worry Rich she is engaged to Ali G - he is indeed a four letter word begining with t but its not toff.

Still his real name has Baron in there........
