I know I should probably ask on a proper computer forum but I don't want to get attacked for my inferior tech knowledge. :hihi::hihi:

On a motherboard I am buying it states that -

"Due to AMD CPU limitation, DDR2 1200(O.C.)/1066 is supported by AM3/AM2+ CPU for one DIMM per channel only"

Which makes me think that I would have to have 1 in one channel and 1 in the other. This then sounds like I won't get it running in Dual Channel mode?

Anybody on here got experience of this, or am I going to have to risk it on a computer forum? Similar questions have been asked on other boards but the answer isn't definitive.

That is Dual Channel mode. It just means that if, say, you have 4 memory slots (2 per channel) you can only use one of them per channel. You'd therefore have to use the maximum size of memory stick your system will support. If you're only allowed one memory stick per channel, they'd better be bigguns.
