Hi

Don't know any near Greystones but I used to ride at Parklands in Anston & it was fantastic, have top quality horses & teachers.

Keep saying I'm going to get back into it just never find the time!

Are you a horsey person Louise, or a new starter?

Either way the BHS (British Horse Society) is a good place to start. They have a website which lists approved riding establishments all over the UK.

I learnt to ride at Cowley Riding School on Cowley Lane, Holmesfield, and they were very good, although that was a rather long time ago. I believe they're still up and running now.

Word of mouth is the best way to go with horses. If you can't find stables that are BHS approved in your area, give some nearby ones a call and they may be able to reccommend smaller establishments that are still reputable.

I reccommend Smeltings Farm on Ringinglow Road - long waiting list but may be able to fit you in. Bit pricey as well but quality teaching :) There's also Snowden although I've never been..they should both be in the Yellow Pages :) xxx

I was just going to reccomend Smeltings too. I keep my horses there and it's good for lessons.
