IN town or out??

Monsel head is good and very pretty, it's out Chatsworth way. In town the new Crystal bar is nice, not eaten but it's supposed to be ok, Blue moon cafe if you want something healthy, Broadfield pub everything is under £2.49, Lions layer in town near cole bros. Ha Ha bar is nice but the food is TERRIBLE! The Priory is good for food and wig and pen on trippets lane.

If near town go to Baan Thai they do a good lunch time deal. Food is scrummy and the service is top notch.

Have plumped for Tapas at the Meditterranean down sharrowavale.

Thanks for the other suggestions though - we nearly went to Monsal Head but decided it was too far away. Another time maybe.

Ha Ha is pretty hit and miss, tho I have had really nice food there before. 22A (across from St Marie's Catholic Cathedral, just off Fargate) is a nice cafe with a good choice. Cubana on Trippet Lane does nice Tapas, if that's your cup of tea.

I can support Cubana, although only been for dinner. Selection of tapas was great, wasn't too expensive. Staff was a bit weird though, some looked a right hippi.

Went to Cubana Tapas Bar last Saturday

Excellent food and wine!

window table for four. Helpful staff. Busy atmos.

Ordered two set menus and about 10 extra dishes!
Less than £65 for four including my wine and bar bill.

I was pleased!
