anyone having difficulties connecting to internet with talk talk

Yes..i switched from bt to talk talk last week, big mistake, i keep losing internet connection and its very slow.:mad:

Never usually a problem and I'm on 4-5 hrs a day. I will say though, it has been a bit slow today.

ive been wiv talktalk 4 2 years wiv no probs can be a bit slow sometimes but hey its cheap.

Not on talk talk but have experienced some problems after downloading latest version of firefox ,If you have done that you could try uninstalling version 9 and going back to the old version to see if it works

Yeah I've been on that tech support number for an hour, hope they don't charge me for for listening to their crappy call centre music and talking to some indian guy who wasn't aware of the now obvious problem with them.

For the past few days now my connection has been on and off for no apparent reason.

It started at the same time the www ppl introduced more url languages so I recon it's something to do with that.

I got 1552 on that broadband test thingy, not going to grumble I can remember not so long ago getting a stiffy over getting 4.5kbps when all there was was dial up or ISDN with £300 quarterly bills.:hihi:

My Talk Talk has been fine all weekend, im getting my usual ~13mb with no disconnections.

O2 is fine as long as their LLU service is enabled at your exchange, their BT based Home Access package is dying a slow death at the moment.

For an extra £4 per month they put you on "up to" 20mb ADSL2+, and for another £4 they increase your monthly download limit to 80GB (which still isn't that large TBH).

If you open an account on their website, you can switch these extras on and off monthly as you want them, getting them doesn't mean that you restart your contract.
