Sarah1985 01-11-2009, 18:39 how much are your classes? i cant find any info on your site about prices. Also whats the minimum age?
My dogs just turned 9 months and i need my next doggy activity. He just loves learning.
Would we be ok to come down and watch one weekend?
Hi
Yes you are very welcome to come and watch, the first session is free anyway. the fun class would be fine for you as the jumps are low and it is designed for younger dogs, older dogs and dogs who cant really do too much.
9 months would be fine as the training will just be fun but with some of the basic agility tasks thrown in. cost is £5 for the fun class. 10 -11 am on a sat morning
Hi Sarah 1985
have just tried to send you an email but for some reason it wont send. here it is

JarvisCocker 03-11-2009, 14:10 We're coming on Saturday! Looking forward to it!
*Peaches* 03-11-2009, 15:02 Ooh I'd love to bring the wirey hound, going to look at your website
*Peaches* 03-11-2009, 15:06 You could have warned me about the music, I just almost had a heart attack!
I can't do weekends unfortunately, its either covered by a dog or pig show
shorty558 03-11-2009, 17:47 I would love my 15 month lab to do agility as he has sooooo much energy, and think he would love it. I'm a bit of a novice at all this though, but when Harley see's other dogs he gets sooo excited and bounds about and doesn't listen to me. Do you recommend obedience before agility class?
Ta
Hi sorry bout the music... big foo fighter fan ha ha
some basic obedience is a good thing before trying agility, just for safety. but that is why i run the fun class... the dogs can get to know each other, watch each other, get used to lots of people running around etc. they stay on long leads to start with and some of the exercises involve sits, waits etc so its the benefit of obedience classes but with a bit more fun and leaning towards agility.
if you wish to come along and watch you are more than welcome...
Kate:thumbsup:
Well I took along D this Saturday and we both loved it!
He managed to go over the mini A frame, through the tube and over (some of ) the jumps and I think he really liked the material tunnel, it must remind him of being dried off as he loves to shove his head under the towel then running around like a loon when I try and dry him off after a walk
Everyone was really friendly and I met JavisCocker with Evie from the forum. D says hello  Kate who runs it was great with all the instructions and made us feel very welcome. It's great to have found an agility place in Sheffield.
He is fast asleep now and snoring ZZZzzzzzz. Looking forward to next week :)
Sarah1985 07-11-2009, 18:58 Glad you enjoyed it Evei. Im hoping to bring dexter next weekend. I was suppose to be coming to watch this weekend but me and Kate were having email problems and I didnt get a reply about the address in time. I think i might just go for it and join in next week.
I would just go and join in :) .... It's easy enough to find and I managed it without getting lost and thats a first :hihi:
Sarah1985 07-11-2009, 19:49 It wasnt that i wouldnt be able to find the place (god bless sat navs) it was more about me not being able to find the address on her website. lol. All i could find was that it was in Beighton.
If someone could PM me that address that would be great.
hi,
head into beighton village...straight on...you come to a car dealership on your left..turn left at junction and go straight on a couple hundred yards and you will see pingy agility field on your left..

Hi Evei & D  it was lovely to meet you both on Saturday.
We had a GREAT time. Will definitely be going again this week. I'm going to stick with the fun class for now and see how Evie gets on, but she did seem to enjoy it. It's all new to her as she's never done anything like it before.
I can recommend this class if anyone is just wanting to try out agility. It was really good fun, Kate was fab. All the dogs really enjoyed it.
See you next Saturday!
jellyfrogs 12-11-2009, 15:25 Hi Guys,
Just seen this. Can a dog join at anytimes or is it set dates?
My Ruby would love this as shes a massive furry ball of energy, however she dosnt know what sit or stay is, recall is fine haha. We have only just got her as a rescue dog so we are going to enroll her in an obidence class first.
Cheers
Lydia
JarvisCocker 12-11-2009, 15:52 The fun class you can definitely join in at any time. You do need to have her be able to do a 'stay' though even in the fun class, so once she's mastered this come along!
Been going with D over the last month and have been really enjoying it so we joined the beginners group :)
There is some pictures of D on the agility website attempting to strut his stuff, he's not great at it, mainly due to my rubbish instructions and general lack of direction  But it's great fun and a good cure for my hangover on a Saturday morning
