We're going out with some friends next weekend in Woodseats and have decided that we all fancy italian.
As far as I know, there are two italian places in Woodseats - Kito's and the place next to KFC (I think it's called Marco's?)
Which one is best? Looking for nice food in relaxed surroundings and also best value for money.
All opinions/suggestions welcome!

marcos is the one realy nice food there but thats about it not much else happens on woodseats unless you fancy going to the big tree of a punch up with a bunch of dope smoking dropouts! (sorry if i offended but ive been there and done it but then grew up and got out) so your best bet is probley the abby for a quiet drink after, because marcos is a small place ( but good food)

We recently went to Kito's for the first time in a couple of years.
We had a really lovely evening, the atmosphere was great and we couldn,t fault the food so I'd reccomend Kito's.
I haven't been to Marco's for a long time. I was surprised to read what R_kid wrote, It looks awful from the outside, perhaps I'll give it a go on R_kid's recommendation!

Hi
Have not managed to try Marco's so I don't know what it is like.
Kito's is ok for food. It does do bring your own booze- but double check for Friday nights (although we have taken our own on a Saturday night). The food is ok but certainly not the best Italian I have ever had. But the prices are reasonable enough and it gets busy enough for an atmosphere.
Apparently Milano's is very good. That is on Archer Road (I think)- just off Abbeydale Lane (junction after Tesco). But it might be a bit pricey.
Have a good time
:)

I've been to both within the last few months and I'd recommend both! I think the ambiance is a bit better in Kito's.
Haven't been to kitos so i can't comment but have been to Marcos several times..it is only a small restaurant but the food is really good and the service friendly..price wise it compares well and you could take your own wine from threshers across the road..have fun

Thanks everyone, we have booked for Kito's but will give Marco's a try another time, hopefully soon.
I had a look at Milano's and it looks very nice, however I think I will save going there for a special occasion as it's a bit pricey for a casual meal with friends.
