I think so anyway, but then theres no one like him for me.What do you Sinatra fans think out there? And what is your favourite Sinatra song?Am I starting a new topic here? *Twinkle* 01-08-2005, 21:02 Usher - My Boo and Destiny's Child - He is  21steve 01-08-2005, 21:25 i dont have a song! psyn 01-08-2005, 22:11 Intergalatic by Beastie Boys. This song was on repeat the night we met and I can't think about our meeting without this song in the background. The lyrics have no special meaning but it triggers a lot of memories. DragonofAna 01-08-2005, 22:17 My current song is Cassandra by Abba. But Going under by Evanescence was probably the main one played in the end. Dragon Kristian 01-08-2005, 22:30 My song for my ex is 'I Want Love' by Elton John; it didn't mean anything at the time, but now it is so poignant. DanSumption 02-08-2005, 21:40 Originally posted by Norbert "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake, we named our narrowboat after it. Beautiful! A few years back, we visited Derek Jarman's garden (http://www.tate.org.uk/britain/exhibitions/artofthegarden/artistsgardens_jarman.htm) in Dungeness. It was at the beginning of January, a very cold, bleak, windy day, especially beside the sea there. Jarman's lover, the current inhabitant of the cottage, was doing a spot of clearing in the garden, and had a big bonfire going. He had the stereo on in the cottage, blasting out Nick Drake. It was so intensely emotional, both warming and chilling at the same time, it was a perfect match for the landscape, the garden, the day, the whole feel of the place. owlsman 02-08-2005, 21:43 Boy Meets Girl "Waiting For A Star To Fall" Thats what were gonna dance to at our Wedding Reception... :) |
