Ours is also a Fleetwood Mac track:

Need your love so bad.

Need someone’s hand to lead me through the night
I need someone’s arms to hold and squeeze me tight
Now, when the night begins, whoa, I’m at an end
Because I need your love so bad

I need some lips to feel next to mine
Need someone to stand up - to stand up and tell me when I’m lyin’
And when the lights are low - and it’s time to go
That’s when I need your love so bad

So why don’t you give it up, baby and bring it home to me
Or write it on a piece of paper, woman - so it can be read to me
Tell me that you love me - and stop drivin’ me mad
Whoa, because I - I need your love so bad

Need a soft voice - just to talk to me at night
Don’t want you to worry, baby
I know we can make everything alright
Listen to my plea, baby, come on bring it to me
’cause I need - your love so bad
Baby, I need, I need - woman, I need your love so bad

Anything by Frank Sinatra of course.Especially for the over fiftys. All his stuff is good "Just one of those things""whitchcraft""young at Heart" "The lady is a tramp"He can even sing "yesterday" better than Paul McCartney. I think so anyway, but then theres no one like him for me.What do you Sinatra fans think out there? And what is your favourite Sinatra song?Am I starting a new topic here?

Intergalatic by Beastie Boys.
This song was on repeat the night we met and I can't think about our meeting without this song in the background. The lyrics have no special meaning but it triggers a lot of memories.

My current song is Cassandra by Abba. But Going under by Evanescence was probably the main one played in the end.

My song for my ex is 'I Want Love' by Elton John; it didn't mean anything at the time, but now it is so poignant.

BTW it's about him not me! ;)

Beautiful!

A few years back, we visited Derek Jarman's garden (http://www.tate.org.uk/britain/exhibitions/artofthegarden/artistsgardens_jarman.htm) in Dungeness. It was at the beginning of January, a very cold, bleak, windy day, especially beside the sea there. Jarman's lover, the current inhabitant of the cottage, was doing a spot of clearing in the garden, and had a big bonfire going. He had the stereo on in the cottage, blasting out Nick Drake. It was so intensely emotional, both warming and chilling at the same time, it was a perfect match for the landscape, the garden, the day, the whole feel of the place.
