Does anyone know if the Thief series is to continue? I thought Deadly Shadows was a great game, but that was a few years ago.

because using a social networking site like this is more .. well .. social and friendly than an impersonal search engine like google, by asking the question here the OP might find people in the local area who share their interests and they can chat to about it ask for hints and so on, so they might make a new friend by asking here but I'm guessing that you don't want to be one of them

An example would be someone may suggest another game similar to Thief which the OP could look into as a stop gap to the next release of thief. Something Google can't do.

Then there are people looking into this thread wondering what this "Thief" game is and look for themselves.

LMGTFY is a very useful tool in identifying those who haven't cottoned on to the power of social media yet. Nothing more.

And I am sure the developers will say in an interview "well we've learnt from those mistakes" only for us all to find that it's become a thief version of assassin's creed with terrible controls and no mouse support :D and Garrett will have magic, and shields and health that replenishes automatically, and there will be a love interest with a big boobed tree woman.

But it'll have multilayer with dedicated server support.

join the debate on the official thief 4 forum and stick your two pennorth in, you might be able to affect the game development, I agree not very likely, but if you don't say anything on there, then not very likely drops to zero chance of affecting the game

Thank you esme. I use Google a lot, but you know sometimes I just want to ask someone rather than wade through a lot of dull results posted by uber-geeks.

Anyway, pleased to hear that something else is coming. I actually liked Deus X 2. But then I hadn't played the first one.
