I saw a very similar view flying over Labrador, Canada on the way to New York.

Yes there from the Lake Powell & Grand Canyon area. Pics taken on my return flight from Los Angeles to London Heathrow. We then carried on flying North East & flew over the Rocky Mountains.

Advice for anyone flying from the UK to North America, get a window seat on the right hand side of the plane as this should give you stunning views of Iceland & Greenland.

That would be Lago di Como... A fantastic visit if you ever get the chance... Especially a small town called Varrena which is like a toy town especially when viewed from the water... multicoloured houses like those in Portafino or Murano.
