I've just returned from this years Rock n' Blues festival. Our 4th gig to date.
We hit the main stage a 4:30 and performed a pretty solid set to 18,000 people.
We were quite unprepared for what was to follow. We didn't set up a merch stand as we had no-one to run it. Shortly after leaving the stage two organisers came up to us ordering us to get to the merch tent. There was a huge queue of people wanting to buy our t-shirts and CDs.
We all had a few boxes of CD's and T-shirts in our cars. We sold the lot in 15 minutes flat!!! We even had to turn people away!
It was an awesome weekend for us. We drove straight up to Clarence Park yesterday for a much smaller festival. (apparently 5000).
We only took 50 CD's with us this time and guess what! All gone in about the same time. Sorry to sound gloaty but I had to share our excitement with you.
