Hiya! Can anybody tell me anything about the R and R bar on London Road? Is it ok, or is it a bit scary? (I'm thinking about going for a job there) Thanks! Little spiky X

Its a wicked place as far as i am concerned, not too busy all the time but i guess that will change when the new student flats open!! Gets busy on matchdays!

Always been a decent place when I've been in - usually have a drink in there on way out as it's on route to town.

I aint been in there for a bit (bout 6 months) but I used to pop in a fair bit and always though it was one of the better boozers down that way.

If Ann is still landlady she seems a good boss if a bit scatty.

I'd say cheap and cheerful - but yeah stay away from the flavoured vodka.

I wish I could tell, but I haven't been there since Bed closed, why ? I don't see the point of going to London Road just for the R&R ;) It was alright as a prebar back in 2002/2003.

its a good laugh i have been for a few mates b days steer clear of the prawn vodka. nice ladies :heyhey:
