Hi

I am looking to book a hotel for wedding night. Not sure where to start:help: . We looking at something that not expensive no more than £60 really. I have been looking and realising this is not realistic we can go to £100. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for looking. :)

The only hotel I came across within your budget when looking for a wedding night hotel was the Garrison in Hillsborough,

Hi ya my name is Lindsey, I got married augest 29th this year and i would highly reccomend the whitley Hall hotel at ecclesfield s35. It was fantastic real luxury. The only advice i would give is, i planned the same as you going stright to the hotel after wedding reception, but my husband had a few too man, he was fine at the reception but as soon as we left and the night air hit him, he felt very poorl, we had to go stright home it would have been a total waste of money but we managed to move it to the night after. It s just another point of view, but it never even accourd to me that we might be having such a good time at the reception we might get carried away. The whitley hall do a package for £99 where you get a 3 course meal and luxury room, champange and full english breakfast. Thats what we ended up having the next night and it was fantastic the food was unreal and it was so romantic. I'm so glad my huband got very merry as we enjoyed it much more and got lots more for our money. Hope this helps. Lindsey

We stayed at the Leopold Hotel. You can book a normal double room online for your budget. Then call them & tell 'em it's your honeymoon & they may upgrade you to the split level messanine room. It was AMAZING! We did have about 30 guests staying there which helped our case in getting an upgrade, but I am pretty sure they didn't even ask about who else was staying there.

Where are you getting married? In the city centre or further a field? :)

We stayed at Whitley Hall Lindsey Lou and it was fab, although abit pricey, think we paid £120 for the room and breakfast!
We chose to leave our wedding reception before the guests with both sets of parents and had a few bottles of champagne back at Whitley.
Your wedding day is amazing but so hectic and I knew we wouldnt have much time for our parents so thought a quiet drink back at the hotel was a great idea.
It really was the best way to end a perfect day for us. Although, the bubbles always go straight to my head and I was rather drunk when we eventually got to bed Oops! :hihi:
