She was last sighted in Heeley / Meersbrook area, S2.

She is black with a white chest and paws.

Fizz is microchipped and was wearing a colourful red / orange collar.

She is tagged and about 6 years old but looks older.

She will be very skittish by now as she was lost on Tuesday night.

Any sightings at all please PM me. I can supply a photo if needed.

We are on holiday and have just found she is missing, we are devastated.

Thank you for reading

Yes, it is. Fizz.

There are already posters out, hon, though of course more can't hurt. Vets and the police have been contacted, and many people from this forum have been out looking, along with your friends.

We'll find her xx

The circus is leaving today. My brother has been to look but they say they haven't seen her and won't let him look round. But thanks for letting us know and for putting up the posters.

I just can't believe this has happened. :(

thank you everyone for your help.

No news i'm afraid... we are back from New York distraught, we have got all the other dogs back and it seems dreadfully quiet.

We are just about to go into work and do poster and flyer photocopying / laminating and then set out on a mission.

We just need a sighting!

I'll keep my eyes open. I don't think it is possible to miss the posters in Heeley..they are every where I have been so you have been busy. If she is in the area someone is bound to see her soon.

I go into the woods and meersbrook park everyday so I will keep my eyes open theres lots of posters in the woods too so I can check that they are staying up for you?

Fingers crossed she will be back with you soon.

yippeeeeee we have found fizz!!!!

Thank you for all your messages of support over the last few days.

Fizz was found by a lovely lady called Amanda at Dronfield Woodhouse (NE Derbyshire) by her Border Collie, cowered in a field. She is so exhausted and a bit injured that she didn't run away. The lady had to carry her home as it was about a mile from her house and she can't walk as her feet and legs have sores on them.

Scarily it was very near where the circus had been last weekend but it was also close to the railway line so i think she has used that to get to where she was found.

We have taken her to the vet and she does need a small operation tomorrow to stitch up her back leg and clean it out as it was done quite a number of days ago. It quite a big wound and horrible looking.

She is starving and lost all her fat and muscle, she is now a very skinny lady indeed.

All we have to do now is get her thro the op tomorrow and give her lots of TLC.

Oh and start taking down the hundreds of posters we've put up - but they have done their job as I still keep getting phone calls about sightings

S'all right with me. I was torn but realised letting everyone know wouldn't be her first priority, hugging and looking after would. So I thought I'd put people out of their misery quietly. :)

This sighting might have something to do with the wippet that was found on the Bole Hills. Same description as yours but is much younger (7 or 8 months the vet recons). I was very disappointed when i saw your dogs picture as it clearly wasnt the same dog. For a min i thought we had a match

Hi

Just to let you know that Fizz's op went well though the line of stitches is massive. Hopefully she'll be back to normal soon. She has lost over a kg in weight.

She is now sat in front of the log fire dosing as she is still a bit drowsy and wobbly, but well on her way to recovery.

Its been the worst week ever and a very expensive one aswell - we'll certainly be thinking twice about going away in the future :(

Aww what a beautiful girl - poor love.
Don't worry - stitches look terible when they are first done... Gadget had an op on his face & looked like Frankenstein's monster - I thought he would never be the same again - but within a few wks you couldn't see it at all :)
