Looking for recomendations on either an Italian/Tapas place in the City Centre.

I've already been to Cubana, Flying Pizza, all on Leopald square, La Manga.

Any I'm not aware of, I fancy a change?

I have always been impressed with Las Iguanas, I know its a chain but the one in West One does seem to be better than others in the chain. How much tapas they do does vary though.

I also like Picolo's oN west Street and BB's on Division street for Italian. Nothing fancy but well cooked rustic food.

BB's do steaks the size fo your head!

I agree with Dark Moomin that Piccolos on West St is a good italian.

As far as tapas goes, I was very impressed with Chimi di Changa inside the Jocosa Bar on West Street (just next to Tesco Express?). Also 10% discounts for local businesses, students and lecturers.

We went to Piccolinos the other night, it's a bit pricey but very good, it's near Cafe Nero, Cafe Rouge, Peace Gardens etc

BB's division street is lovely!

Have to disagree - went last Monday - one word ATROCIOUS!
Friend hardly even touched his main - at least they had the decency not to charge for it

Wig and Pen do nice tapas - although the menu was a little depleted on Friday night, what we did have was lovely!

This place is fantastic, the risottos are always great & I've NEVER had a bad steak there.. it's got a great cocktail bar too.. They have The Diffords Guide to cocktails, so if it's not on there list, they'll make it for you.. I love this place.

I've eaten here twice & both times it was very average... although the last time (& it will be the last time I darken their door), I had the worst paella I have even eaten... I complained to no avail....
They've got kids working there who don't give a f@ck & have no knowledge of the menu... 2/10
