View Full Version : Recommend a restaurant in the City Centre? Tapas or Italian Toon79 23-10-2009, 12:25 Looking for recomendations on either an Italian/Tapas place in the City Centre. I've already been to Cubana, Flying Pizza, all on Leopald square, La Manga. How much tapas they do does vary though. I also like Picolo's oN west Street and BB's on Division street for Italian. Nothing fancy but well cooked rustic food. BB's do steaks the size fo your head! Pearlster 10-12-2009, 15:44 As far as tapas goes, I was very impressed with Chimi di Changa inside the Jocosa Bar on West Street (just next to Tesco Express?). They have The Diffords Guide to cocktails, so if it's not on there list, they'll make it for you.. I've eaten here twice & both times it was very average... although the last time (& it will be the last time I darken their door), I had the worst paella I have even eaten... I complained to no avail.... They've got kids working there who don't give a f@ck & have no knowledge of the menu... 2/10 |
