I just got delivered a Toshiba HDD/DVD/Freeview/HDMI etc.. recorder that has REGZA link, I also have a Toshiba REGZA TV that has the link too.

I know by reading items on the net that they talk to each other but what will that mean to me and my equipment. I have looked in the manual but nothing is published about it ??

Cheers Eric

It means things like if you turn the HDD recorder on and the TV is off, it'll turn the TV on.

It's meant to "enhance" your experience by making you lazy ;)

Is that it ?

I thought it might be some sort of fantastic software jobby like , like auto view sound and picture working via the HDD recorder to TV or summat. Or things like i press volume or channel change on either remote it works the relivent hardware.

Oh well , Cheers
