Are there any supermarkets open now? I live in Nether Edge, something like Sainsburys, tesco etc.

The big Tesco's at Archer Road's open 24 hours.. As is the ASDA at Handsworth.

Thinks thats only midweek. Most 24/7 shops shut early on Sunday, work that one out :loopy:

Big shops are only allowed to open for 6 hours on Sunday (by law). Your best bet is one of the smaller places - I sometimes use Jackson's by the University, open till 11pm 7 days. I don't know Nether Edge but there must be something similar.

All major supermarkets close at 4pm on a Sunday but quite often the petrol stations are open til 8pm or some til 10pm so you can pick up essential bits at supermarket prices!!

Co-ops and Spars etc are usually open though!!

Derbyshire Lane's Co-op is open til late tonight!!

tesco express on west street is open til about 10 or 11 tonight, they sell loads of stuff just like a mini supermarket. try there

There's a Jacksons in Nether Edge, I think it's called Sheldon Road, that would be the best you'll get at this time of day.

Jacksons as well as Pops on sheldon road is open till 9 pm and they are in netheredge. Good for basic stuff. There is a spar on ecclessall road which is open 24 hours and there is a 24/7 shop near broomhill for that i know of.....hope that helps....

Yup, all the big supermarkets close at either 4pm or 5pm (depending when they open) on a Sunday.

Your best bet is a Spar (as already mentioned) or the Tesco's on West St, hope you've not run out of an 'essential' like loo roll! :heyhey:

If shops like the spar, which are open 24/7, 365 days of the year, why do they have locks on the doors? :hihi: :hihi:
