Hi,

Does anyone have any idea where I could find out about local news stories, or maybe even download a copy of a Sheffield newspaper, for a specific date in 1965?

We're putting together a birthday pack for my friends 40th, and it owuld be great to include some of the big local news events of that year?

While we have found companies which provide national news events; we have been unable to find anything local.

Any help would be great, thanx
Dave

Yes, the Sheffield Central library is probably your best bet, I once did some research about the blitz and the librarians were most helpful with supplying archived copies of the Sheffield star.
