Does anybody know why we can't get Italian/French/Spanish/German etc TV channels on SKY? Is it possible to get them?
I only ask cos i'm thinking of learning Italian and I thought it might help?

Can you not get those RTL channels?

I used to have a motorised dish where I could direct it at various satellites and pick up the type of channels you mention.

No sky do not, but you would do well to buy a specialist sat magazine, that will blow your mind on what is available.

If it is any help, I have a sat meter, the tool you use for tuning in dishes, so if you make any decisions from here. Let me know cos there about 300 to buy!

Failing all of that, get a copy of `La Dolce Vita` fantastic film and in Italian (subtitled on dvd(optional)).

Hope this help mr storm trooper!
