Now that I,ve got your attention......:wave:

The Shepley Spitfire in Totley will be closed from the 2nd November until 9th November 09.

During this time we will be having a mini sparkle in the kitchen and the public bar before the festive season start.


Please note we will also be serving food from the 9th November ( pm ) to preview our new menu feel free to pop in and take a copy.

Yes we have both Sky Sports inc ESPN and real ales Greene King IPA which is currently on, Old Speckled Hen will follow after the re-furb and a seasonal Abbeydale Brewery Ale which will be on by the weekend. So come on down!

Well the law of averages dictates that someone will eventually make it into a proper pub. I shan't give any advice other than make your own mind up about the bar flies. Not bad timing, what with the Fluer being on its knees, the Cross turning into a gastro pub, the Cricket having all but changed into a restaurant and the Crown not being in direct competition with you.

If he was the ex boxer, then yes. Sorry I haven't been in for at least a couple of years, I could never make my mind up if I was in an old folkes home, a creche or a youth club.

Tony the boxer died, He had the forresters on division street, Tony who was there a couple of years ago is his son.
