Make sure you're cleared with the gambling laws - I don't know what they are now, but they used to come down very heavily on people running bingo games at a profit, if they didn't have a licence. The fact that the profit is for a charity might be a legitimate bypass, but it might not.
I may be raising unnecessary worries, but better that than you find out after the event that you're in trouble with the law.
Thanks for that heading north just looking into that now as the last thing i want to do is have to pay a fine just waiting for someone to come back to me and see where we go from
there

Sorry I know that its serious and all but I just had to laugh at the mental image of the pet group Ladies all happy at their bingo, the police raid and the Ladies scattering and running the law giving chase...just tickled my fancy :hihi:
I know I have an over developed sense of humour/imagination :help:
You can just imagine it moonbird all these tickets flying everywhere and someone saying but officers we were playing for pussys lol

Wow that sounds amazing - good idea ladies.
I know we tried to run a lottery ticket a few years ago, and had a gambling license for that. think it was about £35.00 for it.
Thing is we paid our money to rotherham council, who never registered us with one, but took the money. Weird
So, if we think we will raise more than the £35 - which i bet we would - then lets go that route. Must be worth a good laff or 2
can magsie call out the numbers?
