Why not a DVD re-writer? They're cheaper these days and do CD's too :D Cyclone 30-07-2005, 12:08 was gonna say the same as DB kirky 30-07-2005, 12:08 Originally posted by DaBouncer Why CD-Rewriter? It shouldn't matter because the DVD writer is in fact a CD writer but has a dual function so I doubt that you actually NEED a CD writer to make it work. Check the way it's setup (the software) with the current writer. Failing that get some different software. kirky 30-07-2005, 12:48 Originally posted by DaBouncer Failing that get some different software. any suggestions? the thing is i paid 20 quid for the programme i'm using at the mo that was only a couple of months ago,ive emailed them for advice but aint had no reply so i don't fancey shelling money out for the same thing to happen again rich951 30-07-2005, 12:58 If you're just using it to make mp3s from cds (if it's the $29.95 program google found), there's loads of free ways to do it... I use EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) (Exact Audio Copy). Might take a little longer to make the program do exactly what you want (it's not hard though), but it's the best there is... melthebell 30-07-2005, 13:36 i use exact audio copy too ANGELUS 30-07-2005, 21:13 Originally posted by melthebell i use exact audio copy too Another vote for EAC from me as well.
