I've just noticed what looks to be a lost dog on my road in Crookes - s/he looks very thin and I tried to get it to come to me but it ran away.

It was looking for food in a skip so I'm pretty certain it's lost.

I'm going to go out again to try and read it's collar as it has a tag.

It looks to be a brown & white spaniel.

They're supposed to be relatively thin.

Hope (s)he gets caught before (s)he has an accident :(

Looked very thin though and was limping slightly. Have had a look around but s/he seems to have moved on.

At least s/he had a tag on so should eventually get back to its owner.

Unless it's one of those aluminium ones that wears out really quickly :(

No I haven't. In fact I have not got a dog.
