Cycling to work down Netherthorpe Road this morning I noticed a black or dark coloured cat had been run over, about 1/4 way down the hill from the University :(

Couldn't stop and see if it had a collar with any ID as if I had in the heavy traffic I'd have probably ended up the same way.

Anyway, posting this sad news in case anyone on here living in the area has a missing cat...

i saw the same cat too. like squiggs, i could'nt do anything about it. i was going to go back and pick it up but it was busy, i was on my bike and was just very upset. It has been moved now, i hope the owner has found out whats happened. there was also a dead mouse a little further down. my guess is that the poor cat chased the mouse and maybe got run over. rip little one x
