Archer road is currently being resurfaced at the bottom of fraser road and fraser is cut off. And as a consequence the traffic is gridlocked along the whole of abbeydale road.
In addition, Sheldon road is also closed for resurfacing.
And also woodseats at the junction of abbey lane is a complete nightmare with men working in the roadway, don't bother to drive if you can help it,
it's chaos.:gag:

Traffic is normally bad on a friday afternoon as people escape early for the weekend, but today it is incredibly bad.

Archer Road is getting worse as there's limited parking on there anyway and the residents park on the road, so it's getting busier and by 5pm today should be a nightmare.
Abbeylane was annoying too, the traffic there was building up and while I sat there the vehicle having gravel loaded in to the back of it dropped some on my car, luckily for them no damage, but it makes you wonder about the safety of it.
At least the schools are on holiday at the moment, that reduces some of the rush hour traffic, especially in the mornings.
