United are not to sell upper stand tickets for the Monday evening sky match against Newcastle to home fans. At the momment.
It would suggest if the demand from Newcastle warrents it, the whole away end will be allocated for newcastle fans.
7000 away fans for a Monday televised match would be hell of a turnout. IF the sales are not that great the suggestion is United will sell to Home fans at a later date.

Makes sense if the geordies can sell them, as we won't be anywhere near full in the home sections for a live tv game.

im sure the geordies will shift most if not all those tickets. it makes sense for utd to do it. the only chance utd have of selling out the home end on a monday night when it's on sky is if it's the derby, so let the geordies have the end.
So SUFC can let NUFC have the whole end 7000 yet SWFC inly allowed 2800? what's up at the lane dont they like a decent 'derby' aptmosphere? at least SWFC give SUFC a decent allocation to try and let as many as people from both sides see the game

More money for the Blades.
Why should we give you the full 7000 when you struggled to sell the allocation we gave you?
Fair play if you ask me- they can obviously sell the tickets and at the minute we can't guarantee to sell it all so give it to them i say.

i would presume we will be doing the same on Boxing day ,when they come to Hillsbro . it makes sense ,rather than have empty seats

Will you be filling one of those seats?
If not as your chairman says "it does not concern you".

Careful Alex or you'll be accused of stalking him like I was the other day
