Does anyone know of a pool/snooker hall in the city centre?

After recently moving jobs from Leeds to Sheffield I'm missing out on my extra hours practice a day!!

Good english 8 ball tables would be best but I'm not fussy so 9ball or snooker will do.
I work in the city centre so needs to be within 15 mins walk (i walk fast) of the train station.

If anyone's up for a game I wouldn't say no either

Hi schloosh,
not sure if the are any yet, other than in pubs, but the Forum on Division Street is opening one this summer, here's a bit from their website:

THE COMMON ROOM - BAR & POOL LOUNGE

Opening Summer 2005

An exciting new venue scheduled to open in the Summer of 2005 requires managers & staff of all levels. This late licensed venue will offer 12 American pool tables, food, live sports events & music.

should be good!

ps -the last line was mine, not from their web site!

If anyone's up for a game I wouldn't say no either Vodka Revolution has two pub style tables if you can make do with those until you find somewhere decent.

If not then you could walk up to Sharrowvale Road where Rileys is. They have some decent tables there and I got a membership plus two piece cue for £20 I think it was.

We used to go there all the time, but they annoyed us when they started giving away our prebooked table to this fat Dave guy that seemed to be close with the staff. It got annoying and we complained, got a free night of pool then stopped going as he kept on doing it.
