can anyone tell me how i can identifiy a small object found just below the footings of a house at crooks, it looks like bronze i think it could be roman its crudely made, shaped similar to an acorn with a bit of a patern and some flowers have been roughly etched on it,its hollowed out as though its been fitted on to something, i dont think its worth anything would just like to know what it is, any help please pm me .
