Strange question i know to ask but i honestly don't know, but i wonder do any of you know can a female give me away at a wedding?. Reason i ask is i never seen a female give a bride away, i always seen the dad or a male member of the family.

I like my teen daughter to give me away, but i don't want to ask her for her to say yes and i know she would, then be upset if i cant, I don't want my dad has i have also got a step dad who has been like a dad to me for many years and i remember the upset of my sister wedding, my mum had my younger brother even thou i have two older sister and myself in the family, so just wondering is it allowed. Me and partner plan to take our two best friends who we are going ask to be our best man and maid of honor at a meal, i like my daughter there to so we can ask them all together has a surprise.

My Mum gave me away last year, as my dad dies from lukemia 3 years ago. Also my sister in law gets married next month and her oldest daughter will be giving her away, she is 17

I thought maybe you could do it, but it is nice to hear some of you has done it too, has none of my family knew if you could. But thank you, now i know i can ask my daughter, and it will make me feel better her been involve more, with my partner not been her real dad and change of my name even thou my daughter has her fathers name, so its nice to know i can involve her more then just a bridesmaid.
