AHG Creative 05-10-2009, 11:38 If you are based near Sheffield, try Hodsock Priory near Blyth (http://www.hodsockpriory.com), which is a wonderful venue. Rakane 05-10-2009, 20:09 We're going with Mosborough Hall (www.mosboroughhall.co.uk). I would suggest visiting as many as you can, because you really cannot tell from brouchures/webpages! Also the council website has a full list of certified venues in South Yorkshire which you may find useful? Rachel x The Maynard 07-10-2009, 15:08 You could try The Maynard:- www.themaynard.co.uk kind regards veronica0 12-10-2009, 22:18 We went to my neices wedding at wortly hall it was amazing, the grounds are beautiful, theres a lake (were my neices husband rowed her around)(which was very romantic),the staff were lovely and the food was delicious. The place is in two parts one side is for the wedding ceremony and you cross over a bridge over the lake (which had been decorated with ribbons to match the colur scheme,it was such a hot day lots of guests sat on the grass by the river whilst the photos were being taken,it was one of the best weddings I have attended S Fredrick 02-12-2009, 23:51 You could try Aston Hall Sheffield, Bagden Hall Denby Dale, Wortley Hall Sheffield, Whitley Hall Sheffield, Wirlow Brook Hall Sheffield (no accommodation), Cubley Hall Penistone. That will keep you busy for a while regards Simon:) |
